About the Role:
Bills Mobile Crane Service Inc is looking for a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Fayetteville, NC! This is an exciting opportunity to operate heavy lifting equipment on dynamic job sites while being part of a trusted and experienced crane service company. Responsibilities:
- Operate mobile cranes safely and efficiently on various job sites throughout the Fayetteville, NC area
- Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks on crane equipment
- Interpret load charts, rigging plans, and lift plans to ensure safe lifting operations
- Communicate with riggers, signal persons, and site supervisors to coordinate lifts
- Set up and dismantle crane equipment, including outriggers and counterweights
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance
Requirements:
- Valid NCCCO (National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators) certification preferred
- Proven experience operating mobile cranes in construction or industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, load capacities, and lift planning
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
- Ability to read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and load charts
- Excellent spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and OSHA compliance
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in various weather and job site conditions
